We are a family owned and operated restaurant. We want our customers to feel right at home. Our Motto is " Just like at home, only we do the dishes". We have won many awards and are best known for our Broasted Chicken. We have a rather large selection of food ranging from breakfast items, to sandwiches, to full course meals. All of our soups are homemade, and we have a wide selection of homemade desserts as well. Check out our menus!

We moved from Rockville (King Farm) to Thurmont 13 years ago. We started eating at Kountry Kitchen when I was pregnant with our daughter. After every OB appt. we went to Kountry Kitchen I craved it! After we had our daughter the first attempt at eating out with her when she was a newborn we went to Kountry Kitchen. That visit was short lived. Great food and great service! The best Rueban Sandwich I've ever had! Bought an applesauce cake to take home and it was delicious and moist! Tasted like my Mom's! <3 We will definitely be back!
I had the liver, onions, bacon and gravy with pickled beets and Amish cucumber salad. Extremely good!
