I came to a scheduled ultrasound appointment in Stamford and had not been notified in advance that the system was down. At the second appointment in Darien, I received an ultrasound of only one leg because they said they were short ultrasound technicians. I was seen by Dr. Nassiri who did a lot of talking about his private life before he examined me and said I was a good candidate for a surgery he does that few other surgeons do. Made tons of promises and spent most of the time talking about how great he is and how lucky I was to get to see him. Then he did nothing and I am much sicker today than I was before meeting him.
I'll preface this by saying I've taken my son to 10 vascular surgeons in UT, CO, TX, PA, & MD for my sons multiple vascular syndromes. Dr Gagne is in the top 3. We traveled from upstate NY to see him. He thoroughly reviewed all my son's previous medical records, spent a long time explaining his perspective and concerns with us and left us with a few options moving forward. I never actually got to see the doctor so MAYBE he would have been good, but they kept rescheduling my appointment. They rescheduled my appointment THREE times and just tried to reschedule it again for the fourth time. I finally told them to forget it and I will find someone else. I NEED to actually SEE a doctor, not keep playing phone tag with their scheduler. This shows total incompetence.
Spinal Surgery NYU in 2002, cut main vein, wife was unable to walk (needs walker) unable to return to work (disabled) or drive. outcome was failed surgery.
