I absolutely love Reynolds Farms! When we decided to revamp the landscaping around our home, I wasn’t sure where to start. We had some existing bushes and plants we wanted to keep, but I couldn’t figure out how to make everything work together. Jeff came out to our property, walked the area with us, and designed something low-maintenance and aesthetically pleasing. It is not a big place but they have excellent selection of trees and plants and flowers. Super friendly, plenty of parking and reasonable price. It is very conveniently located near the highway in Norwalk, CT.
A nice nursery with a vast collection of houseplants and outdoor plants. They also have mulch and all gardening accessories. However, plants are more expensive than Home Depot or Walmart. They have awesome landscaping sculptures, planters, bamboo sticks and terracotta pots.
I am an avid gardener of more than 40 years living down in Greenwich, and I make my way up to Reynolds farm annually for their great pricing and selection. Additionally, the owners and staff are extremely knowledgeable.
I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I regularly purchase firewood from them. The quality seems good and the price is fair. They aren't the cheapest firewood out there; neither are they the most expensive. The mix is good and the wood is clean. Different techniques are required based on what you are building a fire on. It takes some trial and error. Try out different wood suppliers. I did and came back to Reynolds because of their consistency.
