Locust Valley Market has the most magnificent produce department! Beautiful peaches, eggplant, fennel are among the stars for me. It is a pleasure to shop there. Very nice local supermarket tailored to the needs of the Locust Valley community. Nice selection of products and friendly staff. Unfortunately they fall short in the deli with customer service. Despite the fact that they usually have four or more people working there, only one person cuts cold cuts while the others are busy with other food preparation tasks. I’m not a person who leaves reviews but I had a negative experience with the deli manager a few weeks ago. He was unprofessional and was heard saying to his staff, stand here up front, I don’t need anymore bad reviews. I felt this remark was directed towards me because he spoke loudly in English. He always speaks in Spanish to his staff and that’s why I feel the comment was directed towards me. Parking spaces are extremely narrow, help is not trained properly. Somewhat disappointing forster visit.

Locust Valley Market is a charming local spot. 🥗 The food is fresh, the staff are welcoming, and the atmosphere feels warm and community-focused. A great place for quality groceries and meals!
