One star is pretty harsh but this supermarket ended up being worse than Stop and Shop (and that’s pretty bad since that’s consistently the worst supermarket on LI, in my opinion). To start, the very first item I went for was arugula, the there were expired packs on the top. 3rd time since new change. Fresh items are fantastic. Price is fair. Deli female is a work in progress (spoke with mgr) he was genuine. Looking forward to shop for next holiday. Thank you.
I had a very unpleasant experience at this store. I purchased chicken and meat that looked fine at first, but when I opened the packages at home, both were extremely slimy and had a strong rotten odor. I returned them, and while the manager was professional, polite, and helpful, one of the younger employees who took the return had a very poor attitude. I purchased 18.00 worth of chopped meat on 5/21/2026 at 400pm I put in refrigerator immediately and when I went to use it 1.5 days later it was totally brown! My refrigerator is new. I showed the peppered steak meat bought the same day and I clearly see the difference. Something went very wrong with this meat . Please address the meat dept.
