We are thrilled with our new kitchen. The decision to renovate was years in the making. We interviewed several design firms and it wasn’t until we met the team at Dovetail Custom Kitchens that we were ready to pull the trigger. We are so happy with our new kitchen! Heather took meticulous measurements and then created several designs for us to consider. She made use of every possible space and integrated several unique features such as pull out shelves in the corner cabinets, a pull out spice rack, and a pop up mixer stand. The original layout had very limited space, counter tops, drawers, and storage and it was very hard for both of us to work in the kitchen without bumping into each other. I never want to leave this kitchen. Heather and Shawn created the kitchen of our dreams! First of all, the attention to detail. Heather’s architectural background was so important to me as it meant that her measurements are so precise - measure twice, cut once, right? No! She measures like 100 times. Working with Shawn, Kim, and Rosanne at Dovetail Custom Kitchens was a great experience. They were so helpful, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and kind for my entire countertop and backsplash project. Rosanne accompanied me to choose the quartzite that would look best with my cabinets. Kim helped me choose new hardware for the cabinets and also the sink and new garbage disposal.
