I never want to leave this kitchen. Heather and Shawn created the kitchen of our dreams! First of all, the attention to detail. We are so happy with our new kitchen! Heather took meticulous measurements and then created several designs for us to consider. She made use of every possible space and integrated several unique features such as pull out shelves in the corner cabinets, a pull out spice rack, and a pop up mixer stand. We were nervous about renovating our antique. Luckily, a friend found Dovetail and referred us to Heather and Shawn. We did a pretty major project and had a lot of laughs along the way. Our house had an unusual and unusable layout. We renovated our kitchen and reconfigured a dining room to create a pantry, laundry room, bathroom and reading nook. Heather being an architect as well as designer was super helpful. The outcome is gorgeous and we love our "new" old house. We would work with Dovetail again in a heartbeat!

After interviewing many different designers, we chose to work with Heather and Shawn and could not be happier with our new kitchen. We had a small space that needed to be expanded into the next room, which involved the removal of two walls. Heather figured out the best use of the space using tricks and designs I never would have imagined. The flow of our house now is just perfect, and the natural light we get is nothing short of stunning. I’m still so impressed with the attention to detail from both Heather and Shawn!

Heather was amazing to work with. I had a tiny, narrow kitchen that I was having trouble finding a lay out for. She came up with an incredible and functional design that blew me away! Her design expertise is impressive, and she was so fun and delightful to work with. Her attention to detail and commitment to her craft is worth every penny!!!
